Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

AdsEasy (“AdsEasy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a trade name operated by PubliTest Inc., a corporation registered in Québec, Canada. Contact: [email protected].

AdsEasy is a web platform that helps small businesses create, launch, and manage advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name, email, and password (stored as a one-way hash), plus any business details you enter during onboarding (business name, service area, service types).
  • Meta Platform Data: when you connect your Meta account through Facebook Login, we receive the data you authorize — your profile, the Facebook Pages you manage (including any linked Instagram Business Account), the Meta ad accounts you manage, and campaign performance data (impressions, clicks, spend). Meta access tokens are stored encrypted and used only to create, launch, and track the ads you ask us to run on your behalf.

During login we request only the minimum Meta permissions required to deliver the features you use — broadly, permission to list the Pages and ad accounts you manage, read engagement and insights, and create or manage ads on your behalf. The exact set of permissions is shown to you in Facebook’s consent screen before you approve the connection, and is available upon written request to [email protected].
  • AI-generated content inputs: to produce ad copy, targeting suggestions, and creative recommendations, we send the non-sensitive business information you provide during onboarding and campaign setup to a third-party AI service provider. We never send Meta Platform Data (including access tokens, Page or ad-account identifiers, or ad performance data) to the AI provider. AI-generated outputs are returned to you for review before any ad is published.
  • Payment information: if you upgrade to a paid plan, we receive a success or failure status and a transaction reference from our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number or security code.
  • Usage data: pages visited inside the app, features used, error events, IP address, approximate location (derived from IP), browser type, and device information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Create, launch, and manage Meta ad campaigns on your behalf
  • Generate AI-assisted ad copy, targeting suggestions, and creative recommendations
  • Process subscription payments and send billing-related notifications
  • Send technical notices, security alerts, and support messages
  • Respond to questions and support requests
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not use Meta Platform Data to build or augment user profiles. We use Meta Platform Data solely to operate the Service on your behalf as described above.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, license, or trade your data. Data obtained through Meta APIs is handled in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Data Use Policy.

We share information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (our advertising platform partner) — we send the campaign, ad creative, and targeting data you authorize so your ads can run on the advertising platform you have connected.
  • Our payment processor — we pass the transaction data required to bill your subscription. We never share your AdsEasy account data beyond what is needed to complete the payment.
  • Our sub-processors — vendors that operate under confidentiality obligations and are only permitted to use your data to provide their service to us. We engage sub-processors for the following categories of service: application hosting, database and authentication, AI text generation, error and performance monitoring, transactional email, payment processing, and live chat support. A current list of named sub-processors is available on request at [email protected].
  • Legal and safety disclosures — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest. Meta access tokens are encrypted before storage and are accessible only to the server-side processes that need them to operate the Service on your behalf. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International data transfers. Depending on the sub-processor (see Section 4), your data may be stored and processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, including countries inside and outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside your jurisdiction of residence, we rely on standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent safeguards to protect your rights. A current list of the countries in which our named sub-processors operate is available on request at [email protected].

6. Deleting Your Meta Data and Your Account

We commit to delete Meta Platform Datapromptly in each of the following circumstances: (a) you request deletion, (b) Meta requests deletion, (c) the data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, (d) we discontinue the Service, or (e) you revoke the AdsEasy app’s permissions in Facebook settings or disconnect your Meta account inside AdsEasy. Deletion is completed within 30 days of the triggering event, except where retention is strictly required by law.

You can delete data we hold about you at any time in three ways:

  • Revoke the AdsEasy app in Facebook settings: visit Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, find AdsEasy in the list, and remove it. Meta will notify us of your deletion request, and we will delete all Meta Platform Data associated with your account within 30 days.
  • Disconnect your Meta account inside AdsEasy: go to Settings → Meta Connection → Disconnect. Your Meta access tokens are invalidated and deleted immediately.
  • Delete your AdsEasy account: email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We will delete or anonymize all personal information we hold about you within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Account data — retained while your account is active, and deleted within 30 days of an account-deletion request.
  • Meta access tokens — deleted promptly when you disconnect your Meta account or delete your account.
  • Campaign data and insights — retained for up to 12 months after a campaign ends.
  • Inactive Meta Platform Data — purged after an extended period of account inactivity, consistent with Meta Platform Terms.
  • Billing records — retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.
  • Security and audit logs — retained for a limited period sufficient to detect and investigate security incidents, and then deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data (see Section 6)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal)

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

These tools remain in a cookieless, consent-denied state until you accept tracking in our cookie banner; after acceptance they may set cookies such as _ga and _gcl_* to measure how our site is used and how effective our advertising is.

TikTok Pixel. We use the TikTok Pixel (TikTok Inc.) to measure our advertising and reach more relevant audiences. It stays in a consent-held state until you accept tracking in our cookie banner; after acceptance it may set cookies such as _ttp and ttclid and shares information about your visit and account events with TikTok.

Captured replays mask sensitive content. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement for how Microsoft processes this data.

Live chat (Tawk.to). On signed-in product pages we offer live chat through Tawk.to (tawk.to, Inc.). See Tawk.to’s data protection page for details.
